The site is home to a range of existing uses including Whitchurch Athletics Track, St Bernadettes Rugby Club clubhouse and pitches and a time trial cycle track as well as a range of occasional events. Many of the facilities suffer from vandalism and informal recreation use is made dangerous by persistent unauthorised use of motorbikes.
