Bristol City Council has planning consent 07/05074/F for the common infrastructure required to enable the first phases of development to take place on Hengrove Park.

This includes an access junction into Hengrove Park from Whitchurch Lane, roads and junctions leading to the individual development areas, servicing facilities for public transport including bus stop locations and bus accessibility. Works will also include:

  • Provision for safe routes for pedestrians and cyclists.
  • Landscaping
  • Drainage and sewerage systems
  • Utilities to enable each building to function – i.e. power, water, telecommunications
  • New signals and improved pedestrian crossing points at the Hartcliffe Roundabout
  • Widening of Whitchurch Lane
  • Gas governor and sub station
